..addiction..

in the pharmacy i see addiction everyday

its amazing how many types of addiction there are

it would be too easy if it were just drugs, booze & cigarettes

the hardest part of kicking a habit

is wanting to kick it

after all, we get addicted for a reason

often, and too often

things that start out as a normal part of your life

at some point cross the line and become

compulsive, out of control

its the high we are chasing

the high that makes everything else fade away

the thing about addiction is

it never ends well

eventually...

whatever it is that was getting us high

stops feeling good

and starts to hurt

still, they say you dont kick the habit until you hit

rock bottom

but, how do you know when you're there?

because no matter how bad its hurting us

sometimes...

letting it go

hurts even worse

..broken ipod..

uh oh...don't tell daddy...i broke my ipod today. =(
i went running after work..kept my ipod in my pocket...nothing out of the usual...and wouldn't you know...it flew outta my pocket! It didn't just land on the ground, i think because of the momentum of me runnng it flew outta my pocket, skidded on the sidewalk and then flipped over to slide some more. the top of it is all messed up...i gotta big gash in my screen (how ya gonna watch movies n such on the screen with a big gash in it?) and the back is all scratched up.
just when i found a real use for my ipod (running with it) i break it! *aigh
